Thanx Deepside... ;)

As for modability of Skyrim take a look o this page how far did bethesda gone. They have done all provinces of Tamriel, all that old/new land. If not for DLC (or rather expansions) they did it for moders. Frankly I'm more then impressed...

Link is taken from the Nexus.

Already had a talk about that today with Kitten ;)
It could be for kinda realism as this then would look as it would be there.
Though it might be a nice challenge for those that want to create something ;)

Wow, awesome finds Aztec! I was expecting the SKSE, but the fact that Beth included large portions of the landmass of Tamriel in their game is a big surprise, and a very pleasent one. So let's hope for DLCs that take us to areas we could only imagine before (or see in antiquated graphics in TES:Arena and Daggerfall). This is also good news for any enthusiastic modder who wants to re-create Morrowind or Oblivion with the "new" engine. I personally hope for a re-make of Daggerfall (provinces of High Rock and Hammerfell)

NIce find on those landmasses...Whatever Beth did it for, it's certainly likely to encourage modders to flourish with those landmasses...

Beth really do cater to modders in every way

Now we only have to wait for the Creation Kid. Did they say something about the release yet?

Could be for realistic look or the things that I've mentioned before, in any case time will tell. You know what, it doesn't even matter. The only thing that is crucially important is that bethesda gave once more freedom for modders and theirs creativity... Eventually we'll see provinces redone. Oblivion has lived on people hdd till this day (still does?) just because of mods and they well aware of that.

I've never played any sequel of TES before Oblivion, and surely I would like to experience 'em with Creation engine. As far as I read on forums that Morrowind has best story line till Skyrim. So definitely if I was modder I'll go for reconstruction of TES3. But on the other hand, that's huge amount of work included. Small team could done it for 3-4 monts, but individual could take an year or even more. Depends how lore-friendly is willing to stay. Remember they'd had to create all buildings, furniture.... Basically all static and dynamic objects. That's a lot of work, hell I couldn't recreate one chair...

Now we only have to wait for the Creation Kid. Did they say something about the release yet?

"Creation Kid", hahah.... :D
As I've said in the first post something about 1st of December, along with the patch. But this is not 100% confirmed . ;)

Sends shudders down my spine, now the bloody Creation Kit is tied to Steam!
I make quite a few little esps for personal use - like I will be taking the CK to those butt ugly elves - but I just don't share them. I do hope that there will be an option to click whereby your mod does NOT get uploaded to Steam Workshop.

The last line does mention this so your probably still have the option not to upload it there..

"Prefer to use existing modding sites? Not a problem. You’ll still be able to upload/share/access Skyrim mods on fan-created mod sites."

Is there anyway to use the script extender without Steam? I have one of this USB stick modems and making steam run is a pain in the ass, so i kinda crack my games after buying them, since 80% of the time i'm playing offline

@ fenfenfencio:

You do know that we do not discuss piracy here no matter your reasons, right? And you can play Steam games offline legitimately.

I myself loved the Elsweyr-Valenwood mod for Oblivion, and hope someone (the author maybe?) re-makes it. :D
But I was wondering to myself when I installed Skyrim, "I wonder if the Skyrim Script Extender is out?" :P
