UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
2011-12-29 - 21:40 CET - New Files.
File: "Skyrim - Resources V1"
This pack contains various weapons, shields and helmets ready to be added to the game with either the construction set or TES4Edit (No .ESP included)
NOTES:
Helmets:
Please note that because the way the helmets was converted, the helmets that fully covers the head, won't have flexible necks, this means that the whole model (helmet + neck piece / collar) will rotate as a single piece, which may cause some clipping or gaps in the neck area when combined with some armors.
Affected helmets are the "Dwarven" and the "Stormcloak".
Shields:
Please note that for now the "Stormcloak" shield does not come with icons / markings / weapons crests, but if anyone is interested, I can supply the textures for the markings themselves and people can use a texture editing program to add them on their own, if they want.
All models:
Please note that the models are uploaded as is, this means that some of them might require some additional tweaking and some of them might need "glow maps" and so on, but as far as I know all of them should be ready for use right away, though I can't promise they will look perfect :0)
UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
2011-12-12 - 15:00 CET - HotFix.
File: "Skyrim - Console Weapons .ESP HotFix"
Do to a flaw in the way the game reads the .ESPs, causing the loadorder number not being read as it should, the game mistakenly identify the weapons "FormIDs" as if they are a part of the Oblivion.ESM itself, giving all kinds of errors.
To solve this all the weapons from the "console" versions have had an "E" added just after the loadorder number, so for an example the battle axe used to be "xx000000" but is now "xxE00000".
Do to this change I'm sorry to say that all affected weapons already in the characters inventory will disappear and will need to be added again.

1 ). DESCRIPTION:
------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry to say that I'm so busy elsewhere that I'm only able to set the weapons up as either "replacers" or to be added with "console" atm, but I guess that's better then nothing
Also please note that I'm not a moddeler, so I was not able to make the bow animated (the pull of the bow string), but it still looks really cool.
Also the whole conversion was made using a very simple method with NifSkope, so I can't guarantee that there are no bugs here and there, possibly in mapping and shading, but I already use most of them myself in my own game and so far I haven't noticed anything bad.
The in-game stats of the "console" weapons are identical to the vanilla Daedric weapons, so they should be powerful enough to be used most of the way, furthermore they have also had their "weight" reduced to a max of "10", this was done so people will be able to carry more of the weapons, giving them a better chance to give all of the weapons a try, without having to dump too many items to be able to handle the weight.
In some cases the mods, besides the materials, also contain two versions "Console" and "Replacer" (Only the "console" versions requires an .ESP, which has already been included).
What each of them do should be pretty obvious, but please note that the "replacer" versions are now "direct replacers" i.e. will be placed in the default "weapons" directory.
The two versions can be used individually, or at the same time without any conflicts, but they share the textures, so if installing both versions of a mod, don't get surprised if getting a prompt for overwrite and to avoid any missing textures, please make sure to select "accept" / "yes" / "ok" (or whatever) if getting such a prompt.
Furthermore, please note that the included "Shortswords" in some of the weapons sets, are not actually from Skyrim, they are only included to complete the replacer weapons sets and was made by simply "stretching" and shaping base dagger or longsword models, so if they look funny, it's on me and not the actual authors of the original designs hehe
The new versions of "Nord Hero" and "Daedric" have undergone some changes to their "FormID" and "EditorID", which will mean that if people already use these weapons and install the new versions, they will have to add them with the console once more, sorry about that, but it makes it a whole lot easier for me to organize everything.
All weapons now use the same base console code according to weapons type, these are the codes:
NEW
xxE00000 - Battle Axe
xxE00001 - Bow
xxE00002 - Greatsword (Claymore)
xxE00003 - Dagger
xxE00004 - Longsword
xxE00005 - Mace
xxE00006 - Shortsword
xxE00007 - Hand-Axe (War Axe)
xxE00008 - Warhammer
xxE00009 - Arrow
In some case not all weapons are included in the mods, which mods include the which weapons can be found under the individual mod descriptions below.
All weapons added by "console" now also have a "[ U ]" at the beginning of their in-game "name" i.e. "[ U ] Elven Longsword", this will make it easier for people to locate them in their backpack, as they will be auto sorted (by alphabet) at the very top of the weapons tab and this will also help set them apart from their default namesakes
One last thing, as I have not yet played Skyrim, so if anyone plays both games and they spot any discrepancy with regards to things like the scale of the weapons and so on, please let me know so I can fix it.

Only include a "replacer" version.

Been sniffing around in the Skyrim .BSAs mainly to get a close up view of the quality of the new models and textures, so I know what I have to work with once the game has been made open for modding
I was very happy to discover that among other the old boring Daedric weapons had had a major overhaul in the "awesomeness department" and decided to port them over to my Oblivion game, so I could enjoy them while I wait for the CS
And as I did not want to be selfish and just keep the "rips" for myself, I thought I'd share them with the forum in case they had any interest to someone else

Those are some awesome weapons yuou got there
im gonna download this once i get my fallout new vegas working again.
Wow, very impressive! Downloading as soon as possible. Some questions though. Will these work with retextures from Skyrim now? And any chance of getting some of the armor converted too? (Friendly nudge to the ebony armor
)

And retextures should work without any problems, as the models are basically identical, all I did was simply moving the mesh parts from a Skyrim model over to a Oblivion one
someone should port this
Port it to...?
